Uses of either and neither:

Either means both , but  in negative sentences constructions means none of them.

Either of you ca go home.

Have you seen either of them?

There are shops on eitherside of my street.

Bear in mind that either and or are conjunctions in the following sentences.

At the end of a negative sentence, after a comma, either is an adverb meaning also.
