Q: Are you writing or typing ?

A: I’m typing.

Q: What are you doing here ?

A: I’m making coffee.

Look at them ! They are dancing perfectly.

Q: Are you a spiking?

A: No, I’m not. I am singing.

Q: Am I now typing ?

A: Yes, you are typing.

The present progressive is also used for a present activity which requires a shorter or a longer period of time.
